The Seamen's Homes in Greenland are hotels that are run as cosy and open homes. In the cafeteria, locals, tourists, business people meet - everyone is welcome for a meal or to rent a room! The Seamen's Home wants to be a meeting place with Christian values and a hotel with a good, warm and loving atmosphere. At the same time, we try to preach the Christian message with hand and heart. This means through practical involvement in the local community, through morning devotions and conversations and through affiliation with the Greenlandic church.<\/p>

With practical work and human care, a cup of coffee, a meal or a good bed, or perhaps a visit on board the harbour ships, we try to create a good atmosphere in an alcohol-free setting.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAt S\u00f8mandshjemmet in Aasiaat, Lisbeth and S\u00f8ren Hansen are the manager couple, employed since June 2019.\nThe Seamen's Home is a modern family hotel with 36 rooms, 21 of which have been newly renovated after an extension.\nThe new extension also includes a large training room with sea views. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAt S\u00f8mandshjemmet, Elisa and Morten Mikkelsen are the manager couple, employed from November 2020.\n\nThe Seamen's Home has 41 rooms, 37 of which have their own shower and toilet. There are 4 large handicap accessible rooms.\nThe new training rooms overlook the harbour.
